Spent three hours tossing spearings at Jones Inlet. Between the two of us, we caught three short flukes between 14 and 15." Looked up and down the beach same story there short flukes, plus sea robins.

Foot-long snappers were the hot bite at Seaman's Neck Park. Even though the bite was hot, it wasn't super hot, about one snapper per one hour of fishing.

Decided to walk Seaman's Neck Park. Saw someone catch a sea robin, saw, however, no snappers. Tons of spearings and killies in the water next to the rocks.

Saw my first kingfish on the year. A fisherman nabbed five of them, all about 10" at Seaman's Neck Park on clam strips. Also saw a couple of snappers and a needlefish caught during the ebb tide.

The kingfish bite was hot today. Nabbed seven kingfish between 10 and 12" in a couple of hours Also caught a 12" snapper. Everything on clam strips. Would have caught more kingfish if it weren't for the small sea robins, tons of them, hitting my bait. The kingfish are half-way between the island and the pier at Seaman's Neck Park.

No luck today with the kingfish at Seaman's Neck Park. Only caught a sea robin using clam strips. Yet, I saw plenty of snappers caught on snapper stopper lures.

Still plenty of kingfish and snappers at Seaman's Park in Seaford. In a couple hours of fishing nabbed three kingfish and two snappers on clam strips.

Best day of fishing in a long time. Was nailing doubleheaders of kingfish and snappers, or just kingfish, or just snappers. In total, nailed 10 snappers, 10 kingfish, plenty of sea robins, and a needlefish, all in two hours of fishing at Seaman's Neck Park. Used clam strips and fished the ebb tide.
