A crowd showed up at Miburn Creek in Baldwin. In total, 11 fishing lines, Zero flounders.

Weather wise nicest day of the year. A fisherman and I at Seaman's Neck Park in Seaford both tried for flounders. Each ended up with nothing.

Once again, Milburn Creek in Baldwin was jammed packed with six anglers, 10 lines. Total - zeo flounders.

Three weeks into the season, still haven't seen a flounder yet. Today, fished Seaman's Neck Park. As usual, nothing.

Skunked again flounder fishing. This time caught nothing at Cold Spring Harbor Pier. That's it. I'm waiting for bass season to open on the 15th.

Tossed out lures at Jones Inlet hoping to catch a striped bass. In total, fished one hour. Nothing. Meet fishing cronies in the parking lot who finished fishing, no fish caught by them either.

Tried Jones Inlet again. Sunny day, no winds, and no fish. Tossed lures for one hour.

Talked to an old family friend at Inlet, said he caught a skate on calm belly.

Fished tins at Jones inlet. Nothing. Still too early in the season. Water temps 43 degrees. Taking a monthlong break. Will start posting again toward the end of May.
